Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026

1. Who we are and what this covers

Factor BI ("Factor BI," "we," "us") provides business intelligence, executive dashboards, data integration and synchronization, and AI-assisted analytics, together with related consulting. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website (the "Site") or contact us. It does not create any contractual obligation beyond what applicable data protection laws require.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you book a meeting or otherwise reach out, we may collect your name, business email, company, role, and any details you choose to share about your needs.
  • Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, we and our analytics providers collect standard technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring source, through cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for details and choices.
  • Information we process on behalf of clients. When we deliver services, we may process business data provided by our clients solely to perform those services. For that data, our client is the controller and we act as a processor under our services agreement; this Policy governs the Site and our own use of personal information.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data through the Site.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to: respond to your inquiries and schedule meetings; provide, maintain, and improve the Site and our services; send you communications about our services, from which you can opt out at any time; and comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)

Where the GDPR (or UK GDPR) applies, we rely on: your consent (e.g., non-essential cookies, marketing); our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business; the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request; and legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use essential, analytics, and third-party cookies as described in our Cookie Policy, including an embedded third-party scheduling tool used to book meetings. We use analytics tools to understand Site traffic; we do not use advertising or social-media tracking pixels. You can manage cookies through your browser and the choices described there.

6. How we share information

We share personal information only with: analytics and meeting-scheduling providers that act on our instructions to help us understand Site traffic and let you book time with us; authorities or third parties where required by law or to protect our rights; and, in connection with a business transaction, a successor entity. The Site runs on cloud infrastructure we operate under our own account — we do not hand your personal information to a separate third-party hosting service. We require any provider we use to protect personal information with appropriate safeguards.

7. We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.

8. International transfers

We operate from Mexico and may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place so your information receives an adequate level of protection when transferred internationally.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described here, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or anonymize it.

10. Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. California residents may exercise these rights, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so. To make a request, contact us at legal@factorbi.com; we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may also authorize an agent to act on your behalf, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response.

12. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is the one published on this page, with its update date.

14. Contact

For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at legal@factorbi.com.
